Artist Ray Fisher and I first crossed paths over eighteen years ago during an exhibition at the James Hoyle Gallery. Over the years, we both frequently showcased our work there, even as the gallery underwent a name change. Although the gallery has since closed, our friendship has flourished. Ray's captivating pieces are a prominent part of my personal collection. In November, I had the pleasure of hosting him at a one-night event in my studio, which drew a wonderful mix of old and new friends, as well as collectors. The evening was a success with artworks being purchased and guests enjoying food and drink. I eagerly anticipate our next collaborative exhibition.
